First Baptist Church of Marshall Heights is a fellowship of believers that strive to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip believers through discipleship. Our Mission emphasizes all the diverse work we do as a Church, through our auxiliaries and as individuals in sharing the gospel message with others. We undertake the work of Mission realizing that only with God's help can the giant task of Christian Mission be accomplished. FBCMH proclaims the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith, to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. At FBCMH we pledge our lives to Christ to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of the church and the community. In obedience to God and showing His love as a Christ-centered body of believers, we at FBCMH commit to share the Word of God and ourselves with our neighboring churches, the surrounding communities, and throughout the world. Our Mission Society is an active year-round auxiliary, communicating with and visiting with and providing needs to be selected - residents at nursing homes - taking care of selected student needs at a nearby school - engage in mission - compassion to members having death in their families - enagage in mission relief in assisting with mission emergencies - lending helping hands to a variety of community Christian missions. Growing in faith and sharing our faith with the world around us.
