Vacation Bible School

Join us for Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2018

Vacation Bible School has become so familiar to us that we often overlook it as an important part of the Church's evangelistic outreach.  VBS is a dynamic outreach on the part of the church to its community.  If it is looked upon as a means of keeping youngsters busy during a week of summer vacation, then the church's mission is divided before it begins. Therefore, we. the VBS Staff dedicate ourselves to make VBS one of the most valuable evangelistic activities of First Baptist each year.

Why Have VBS?

"O Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people...talk ye of his wondrous works...let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord."   With those words in mind and the roles we've undertaken. VBS will allow us to share God's word, give of ourselves unselfishly, glorify the Lord {Matt. 5:16), and give Jesus our Best as we display a positive attitude and commitment in sharing with both saved and unsaved persons. In turn. VBS will allow each of us to: (1) provide an intensive experience in Christian Education for children, youth, and adults; (2) reach out to children, youths, and adult within our community, (3} promote the spiritual growth of individuals through relevant Bible Studies; (4) develop a deeper relationship among children, youths, and adults for service, training and involvement in the church's programs; and (6) train Church Leaders.
